Singer Kim Jong Kook, who recently announced his marriage, will continue his appearances on SBS’s popular variety show 'My Little Old Boy' without interruption.
According to Xports News on August 19, Kim Jong Kook will remain on the program despite joining the ranks of married celebrities.
Kim Jong Kook’s marriage news was first reported on August 18. The wedding will be a private ceremony attended only by family and close friends, and details about his fiancée have yet to be disclosed. With his status as a married man, questions arose about whether he would continue appearing on 'My Little Old Boy.'
The show, which features mothers observing their sons’ daily lives and recording moments through a “parenting diary” format, typically showcases celebrities who are unmarried and in their late years.
However, previous celebrities such as Kim Jun Ho and Lee Sang Min, who recently married, have continued their participation on the show, suggesting that Kim Jong Kook will likely do the same for the foreseeable future.
An SBS representative told Xports News, “There are no changes regarding Kim Jong Kook’s appearances on 'My Little Old Boy.'”
On August 18, Kim Jong Kook shared his thoughts on his marriage in a handwritten letter on his fan cafe. He expressed, “Thanks to all the fans, I am getting married and taking on a new challenge in life. I will continue to work hard and live earnestly.” His message received widespread congratulations from fans.
