Disney+ has unveiled the main poster and trailer for its upcoming original series, 'Tempest.'
'Tempest' follows the story of Moon Joo (played by Jun Ji Hyun), a UN ambassador with international acclaim, as she investigates the forces behind the assassination attempt on a presidential candidate. Alongside her is Sanho (played by Kang Dong Won), a mysterious special agent tasked with protecting her, as they confront a monumental truth that threatens the Korean Peninsula.
The newly released main poster immediately captures attention with the striking visuals of the characters pursuing the hidden truth behind the assassination attempt. Against the backdrop of a city engulfed in a massive explosion, the characters’ intense expressions and intersecting gazes convey a gripping sense of urgency, heightening anticipation for the unpredictable story ahead. The tagline, “Who can you trust, and what will you protect?”, hints at the complex relationships and conflicts that will unfold in this espionage romance, further building excitement.
The accompanying main trailer amplifies expectations, showcasing the overwhelming scale of the story and the perilous threats lurking at every turn, as the characters press onward toward the hidden truth.
'Tempest' will premiere on Disney+, releasing three episodes on September 10, followed by two episodes each week starting September 17, culminating in a total of nine episodes.
