
Wanna One’s return is already generating massive global excitement ahead of their new reality show launch.
According to global K-pop content platform Mnet Plus, the teaser for ‘WANNA ONE GO : Back to Base,’ released on April 1 KST, surpassed 4.5 million views across YouTube and social media within just one day. The cumulative views of teaser content released since January have already exceeded 15 million, proving the group’s overwhelming buzz.
The newly released teaser captures the emotional reunion of Wanna One members after seven years. Reflecting on the first surprise teaser revealed in January, Lee Dae Hwi shared, “I cried in front of the fridge as soon as I saw it on New Year’s Day.” Kim Jae Hwan and Hwang Min Hyun also expressed how deeply they felt the continued love from fans, revealing they repeatedly watched the teaser.

The members reminisced about iconic segments from the original ‘Wanna One Go,’ including the popular “chicken fight” and mafia game, with many expressing their desire to revisit those moments. They also shared ideas for the new season, such as traveling, working out, and introducing their pets, further raising anticipation.
Since January, Mnet Plus has been releasing teaser content on the first day of each month at 11:11 AM, hinting at the group’s reunion and building excitement among fans. More than just a one time reunion, the upcoming reality show promises to showcase a more mature and genuine side of Wanna One after seven years.
‘WANNA ONE GO : Back to Base’ is set to premiere globally on April 28 at 6 PM via Mnet Plus, followed by a broadcast on Mnet at 8 PM the same day.
