
Lee Min (real name Lee Min Young), a member of the female duo As One, has passed away at the age of 46.
On August 5th KST, she was found deceased at her home. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding her sudden passing.
A representative from BRANDNEW MUSIC stated on August 6th, “The police are conducting an investigation,” and asked the public to refrain from excessive speculation until the official results are revealed.
According to sources in the music industry, Lee Min had remained active up until recently. In June, she released a new single titled “Happy Birthday” and also appeared on ‘Park Bo Gum’s Cantabile’.
A longtime friend of the late singer shared, “She was truly a positive person. She had just made a comeback and was enjoying her activities. I still can’t believe it.”
Another acquaintance added, “I met her just last week. She was always sincere and hardworking, juggling both her music and her job as an instructor.”
Lee Min debuted in 1999 as part of the duo As One, which rose to fame with hit songs such as “For You I Long and Resent”, “Day by Day”, “Don’t Be Silly”, and “Am I the One Who Should Apologize”.
