In light of the release of his 2nd solo mini album 'Chameleon', ASTRO member Yoon Sanha dished on his career, his group's moving reunion through their solo concert, and more in a press interview.
In particular, Yoon Sanha expressed both his affection for and admiration toward the members of ASTRO, commenting, "I learned to have confidence when taking on new challenges in different fields through my hyungs. I think if the other members had focused on their group activities since our earlier debut days, I would not have developed the ambition that I have now. But [Cha] Eun Woo hyung, the person I want to catch up to the most, conducted activities in every field from early on. It motivated me to want to do the same."
The idol added on, "When I saw Eun Woo hyung acting, preparing for his solo fan meeting, and our concerts all the while working on our new group album, I wondered, 'How can a person do all that?'. Because I watched him go through it all, it also made me want to work harder without stopping."
Regarding ASTRO's celebratory reunion concert held with ex-member Rocky, Yoon Sanha reflected, "I was grateful that he agreed. When we talked to him about it, he said, 'I've been waiting'. It probably wasn't an easy decision, but thanks to his willingness, we were able to tell a new story of ASTRO to our fascinating."
Finally, Yoon Sanha called his ASTRO members "my family that I will be with for the rest of my life." He said, "I always thought of them as my family, ever since our trainee days. After our debut, I was sure that we would be together for the rest of our lives. Because we respected one another throughout our group activities, we were able to form an even stronger bond."
Meanwhile, Yoon Sanha released his 2nd solo mini album 'Chameleon', featuring the title track "Extra Virgin", on July 15 KST.
