TEEN TOP is officially making a comeback as a full group this August, their first in two years following Changjo’s military discharge.
The group is currently working on a new album. To celebrate their 15th debut anniversary, they will host a special livestream on their official YouTube channel on July 10, where they plan to share news about the upcoming album and performances.
TEEN TOP experienced renewed popularity after appearing on MBC’s variety show ‘Hangout with Yoo’ in 2023. During the broadcast, Yoo Jae Suk referred to TEEN TOP as his “favorite group,” sparking widespread interest in their past hits. Following the show, the group released a new album and held a signature performance event titled ‘TEEN TOP WE GONNA ROCK IT DROP IT TOP IT HEY DON’T STOP IT POP IT LIVE’, which was met with enthusiastic reviews. The performance showcased their trademark choreography and strong team synergy, underscoring the experience and passion they’ve accumulated over the years.
Their agency, TOP Media, stated, “We’re doing our best to prepare a meaningful comeback to mark TEEN TOP’s 15th anniversary. Please look forward to their new music and promotions.” Additional information about the upcoming album will be announced through official channels.
Fans have already begun expressing their excitement and anticipation for TEEN TOP’s long-awaited return.
Meanwhile, the members have been active in various fields. Niel released his fourth solo mini-album this past April and is currently appearing in the musicals ‘Time of a Dog and a Cat’ and ‘6 O’Clock Off Work’. Chunji is starring in ‘Sunnyten’, while Ricky is also performing in ‘6 O’Clock Off Work’. Changjo, who was discharged from the military in May, has launched an Asia fan meeting tour, with stops in Taiwan, Korea, and Japan.
