In light of South Korea's 21st presidential election, major broadcasters are canceling regular programming to air live election coverage and special reports.
According to Newsis, the programming schedules for June 3 show that all three major terrestrial networks, KBS, MBC, and SBS, along with cable channels JTBC, Channel A, TV Chosun, and MBN, will broadcast special election programming and real-time vote counting coverage.

On KBS 1TV, regular shows such as 'Animal Kingdom,' 'Hometown Report,' 'My Neighbor,' 'Charles,' and 'Good Luck!' will be preempted. KBS 2TV, on the other hand, will maintain its regular schedule without any cancellations.

MBC will suspend programs including 'MBC Live Tonight,' 'Desperate Mrs. Seonju,' 'MBC 100-Minute Debate,' and 'PD Note.' SBS will not air 'Whenever Possible,' 'Kim Won Hee's Wonder Land,' and 'Dolsing Fourmen' this week.

Cable channels are also adjusting their lineups. JTBC will cancel 'Han Moon Chul's Dashcam Review,' 'Crime Chief,' and 'Street Food Biker.' Channel A will not air 'The Story More.' TV Chosun will postpone 'Medical Documentary: The Fact,' 'Healthy House 2,' and 'Dad and Me.' MBN will reschedule 'The Lord of the Thumb' and 'Korea-Japan Top Ten Show' to air next week.
