Billlie’s Japanese member, Tsuki, revealed her solo living space and Korean study routine.
On the 637th episode of MBC’s 'I Live Alone,' which aired on March 6, Tsuki appeared as a guest and shared her daily life.
She said, “On my days off, I spend 30 minutes to an hour walking in the morning while watching anime or dramas,” and turned on the TV. She revealed that this was her routine to further study Korean.
She explained that she focused on studying by watching Korean films with Korean subtitles rather than Japanese subtitles. Whenever she encountered a word she didn’t know, she paused the video, looked up the meaning, and immediately understood it.
Watching this, guest Lee Jung exclaimed, “You’re listening in Korean and reading Korean subtitles too,” and Tsuki explained, “I have to look up the words I don’t understand.”

Lee Jung continued to ask how Tsuki initially studied Korean and asked, “How did you usually study?” Tsuki surprised everyone by saying, “I cut off contact with my parents for about six months. I wasn’t allowed to use Japanese, so I didn’t reach out to them.” She added, “I memorized 30 words a day and took weekly tests.”
Tsuki also recalled, “I came to Korea when I was around twelve. I didn’t know any Korean at all and focused solely on studying, without contacting my parents. After about six months, when I could have everyday conversations, I reached out to them.”
Meanwhile, Code Kunst joked to Jeon Hyun Moo, “Maybe that’s why you’re so good with languages, because you cut off contact with your parents,” and added, “You speak three languages, including Chinese, so you’re good at all of them,” making everyone laugh on set.
