Former rhythmic gymnastics national team member Son Yeon Jae has introduced her 15-month-old son to the public for the first time.
On June 2, Son shared a video on her new YouTube channel Son Yeonjae sonyeonjae, where she revealed her son, Lee Junyeon, affectionately referred to as “Mr. Junyeon.”
Son explained her reason for launching the channel, saying, "I wanted to share snippets of our everyday family life." She added with a laugh, "But actually, the real star of this channel is someone else — our 15-month-old son Junyeon. I’ll be conducting an in-depth interview with him today."
The light-hearted video shows Son attempting to “interview” her toddler during mealtime. When she asked, "What’s your name and how old are you?" her son hilariously ignored the question and focused on holding a ladle, drawing laughter.
Trying again, she asked, "What’s your MBTI? I wonder if you’re an ‘I’ type." She continued the playful banter, asking, "What do you do when you don’t want to eat baby food?" Yet, Junyeon remained silent throughout, amusing viewers with his adorable indifference.
In a sweet moment, Son whispered to him, "Say, ‘I’m really cute.’" But instead of replying, Junyeon suddenly got up and made a comedic escape from the scene.
Son also noted that her son’s lips resemble those of the cartoon character Majolica. At one point, she asked, "Who do you like more, mom or dad?" and it appeared that Junyeon picked his mother’s photo, prompting laughter.
The video concluded with Junyeon eagerly bringing a toy when asked, showcasing his playful and active side.
Son wrapped up the video by saying, "I tried to do an interview with a 15-month-old, but it turns out he can’t talk yet. We’ll try again when he can," ending the video on a humorous note.
