tvN’s beloved travel variety show 'House on Wheels' is making a much-anticipated comeback with its fifth season, according to an exclusive report by Maeil Business Newspaper on June 12.
Although the cast lineup and filming locations have not yet been confirmed, tvN has officially announced the launch of 'House on Wheels: Season 5.' This marks the return of the series nearly three years after the fourth season aired in 2022.
House on Wheels features stars traveling across South Korea in a portable home, where they invite special guests to spend a day living together. Since its premiere in 2020, veteran actors Sung Dong Il and Kim Hee Won have served as the main cast. Each season also included a younger actor such as Yeo Jin Goo, Im Si Wan (Siwan), Gong Myung, or Rowoon, adding a unique charm to every installment.
The show’s popularity even led to a spin-off titled 'House on Wheels: For Rent,' which starred Kang Ha Neul, Han Hyo Joo, and Lee Kwang Soo. This version offered a different style of mobile home adventures across the country.
With the new season on the horizon, viewers are looking forward to another round of healing moments, scenic views, and delicious meals that the show is known for.
