Group NewJeans has announced an extension of its official global fan club membership, offering fans additional benefits.
On March 25 KST, the group’s fan club manager revealed that the validity of the Bunnies Membership will be extended by 365 days for eligible members. The update takes effect from 11 AM KST on the same day, with adjusted expiration dates available from 12 PM.
According to the announcement, all existing members with valid memberships as of the specified time will automatically receive the extension, with no additional action required. The extra 365 days will be added to each member’s remaining subscription period.
New memberships will continue to be available as usual, with a standard validity of one year from the date of purchase. However, those who sign up after 11 AM on March 25 will not be eligible for the extension benefit.
Fans can check their updated membership status through the Weverse app or website under the membership section.
The notice also included a reminder that membership benefits cannot be restored if a user cancels or deletes their account after the extension is applied.
The move has been welcomed by fans, as it reflects appreciation for continued support and offers extended access to exclusive fan club perks.
However, some fans are showing mixed reactions to the membership extension announcement.
In particular, many are referencing the ongoing legal dispute involving Danielle, expressing the view that extending the fan club without her has little meaning.
Comments such as “NewJeans isn’t the same without all members” and “We need clarity on Danielle’s situation” have been circulating, with some fans questioning the significance of the extension under the current circumstances.
