G-Dragon is continuing to expand his media exhibition, ‘G-DRAGON Media Exhibition: Übermensch’, from Tokyo to Taiwan.
The exhibition will first take place from July 12 to July 21 at Sumitomo Building’s Triangle Square, located in the heart of Shinjuku, Tokyo, drawing significant attention. Triangle Square is an enormous indoor exhibition space measuring 2,600 m² — more than three times the size of The Hyundai Seoul — underscoring G-Dragon’s exceptional popularity in Japan.
Notably, the venue is an open space that allows for free public viewing. Fans can freely explore the exhibition, wearing tattoo stickers designed to match the album’s concept, and enjoy the wide, daisy-filled area that symbolizes G-Dragon, creating festival-like memories in a space fully dedicated to him.
Following the Tokyo exhibition, the showcase will move to Taiwan’s iconic landmark, Taipei 101, from July 17 to August 11.
Unlike the festival-like vibe of the Tokyo venue, the Taiwan exhibition will span three floors of Taipei 101 and is designed as a fully immersive experience, focusing on three key elements: immersion, interaction, and feedback. The different structure of the Taiwan exhibition is already generating considerable anticipation.
A teaser video for the Taiwan exhibition was recently released on the event’s official social media, instantly capturing attention. The teaser featured G-Dragon’s music video playing on an old-school TV monitor in a vibrant neon-lit alley, with the Taipei 101 tower glowing in the background, announcing the upcoming exhibition in Taiwan. The stylish teaser has sparked an enthusiastic response from Taiwanese fans.
This exhibition showcases the theme of ‘ Übermensch’, the core message of G-Dragon’s third full-length album, through digital media art. After Tokyo and Taiwan, the exhibition is expected to travel to more cities around the world, meeting fans across the globe.
