The Netflix series ‘Squid Game’ season 3 has successfully wrapped up its finale event.

Season 3 of ‘Squid Game’ follows Gi Hun, who reenters the deadly game with a new purpose but ends up losing his closest friend. It also delves into the story of the Front Man, who secretly infiltrates the game, and the final destinies of the participants who survive the brutal challenges.

Since its release on the 27th, the series has quickly soared to No. 1 globally in Netflix’s TV show category, signaling yet another wave of the ‘Squid Game’ phenomenon following the success of seasons 1 and 2.

Building on the explosive response, the ‘2025 K-Content Seoul Travel Week: Squid Game Parade’ and finale fan event, co-hosted by Netflix and the Seoul Metropolitan Government on the 28th, brought the series' lead actors and fans together, creating an electrifying atmosphere.

The parade, which stretched from Gwanghwamun Square to Seoul Plaza, was filled with symbolic icons from ‘Squid Game.’ Giant game invitations featuring the familiar ○△□ symbols, the pink coffins, piggy bank installations, dalgona balloons, a carousel, and the Pink Guards marching band captivated the fans with vibrant performances and dazzling visuals.

At Seoul Plaza, fans could immerse themselves in the ‘Squid Game’ universe through interactive zones and photo spots, including the jump rope game with Younghee and Cheolsu and the Ddakji Man game.

The fan event brought together an incredible lineup of cast members across all seasons, including director Hwang Dong Hyuk, Lee Jung Jae, Lee Byung Hun, Im Si Wan, Kang Ha Neul, Wi Ha Jun, Park Gyu Young, Lee Jin Wook, Park Sung Hoon, Yang Dong Geun, Kang Ae Shim, Jo Yu Ri, Chae Gook Hee, Lee Da Wit, Noh Jae Won, and Jeon Seok Ho.

Season 2’s Choi Seung Hyun, Lee Seo Hwan, Won Jian, Kim Beom Rae, Kim Si Eun, and season 1’s Park Hae Soo, Jung Ho Yeon, Kim Joo Ryeong, Anupam Tripathi, and Lee Yoo Mi also joined the celebration, making it a true gathering of all the key figures from ‘Squid Game.’

A commemorative class photo featuring the entire cast was also unveiled, drawing attention and evoking nostalgia for the unforgettable characters from each season.

The scale of the finale event itself was nothing short of extraordinary. The event took approximately 348 days of preparation starting in July 2024 and involved a production crew of 456 people, a fitting nod to the show's iconic player number. The experience zone in Seoul Plaza featured 10 different ‘Squid Game’

themes, including the Ddakji Man, carousel, and jump rope, providing an immersive experience for fans.

The 1.2 km-long parade was highlighted by a 7.5-meter-tall Young Hee figure that immediately drew attention. Approximately 38,000 fans attended the parade, while around 9,000 fans gathered for the fan event. The online live stream reached 4.4 million views within just two hours, once again proving the immense global popularity and impact of ‘Squid Game.’
