Actor Choo Young Woo is set to return to tvN’s 'You Quiz on the Block' on June 18, marking six years since his first unexpected appearance on the show as a student from the Korea National University of Arts.
At that time, Choo was briefly featured for just 33 seconds in a street interview. Despite the short screen time, his appearance left a lasting impression. Now, he returns as one of Korea’s most talked-about young actors. Host Yoo Jae Suk greeted him with enthusiasm, calling him a true star born from 'You Quiz.' Choo will share how he transformed from a Korean history tutor into a popular actor.
The episode will also reveal how Choo rejected a casting offer from JYP Entertainment and instead chose to pursue acting at the Korea National University of Arts. His journey to stardom was filled with challenges. He failed over 100 auditions and worked part-time jobs, including as a security guard at a luxury store and as a parking attendant.
