BABYMONSTER has achieved their first million seller.
On June 27, YG Entertainment announced, “BABYMONSTER’s first full-length album 'DRIP' has recorded a cumulative sales figure of 1,011,352 copies.”
The milestone comes about seven months after the album’s release. 'DRIP,' which was released in November last year, had already shown signs of success with 670,000 copies sold in its first week.
The agency stated, “This reflects their steep upward trend,” and added, “With more promotions scheduled for the second half of the year, final sales are expected to increase further.”
BABYMONSTER is set to release a pre-release single titled 'HOT SAUCE' on July 1. They will follow up with a second single in September and a mini-album in October.
Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER will also appear at Japan’s largest music festival, 'Summer Sonic 2025,' on August 16.
