Yulhee collapsed after completing a marathon.
On the May 24 broadcast of MBN’s real variety program 'Run For Your Life' (also known as 'Run Together'), 16 members of the "Run For Your Life crew" participated in a survival race, aiming to beat their previous records in the 10km "Sunset Marathon."
Yulhee ran alongside team leader Sean, but her posture began to falter. Sean watched closely and offered encouragement, saying, "Fighting, Yulhee, fighting." Commentator Bae Sung Jae soon observed, "Yulhee doesn’t look well."
As Yulhee continued, her body leaned more and more off balance. Sean reassured her, saying, "Steady your breathing. You’re doing great. The kids will be so proud of their mom."
During the run, Yulhee was seen in tears. In a post-race interview, she shared, "I kept seeing my kids’ faces in front of me. It was tough—I couldn’t control my emotions, my breathing, or my body."
When Sean tried to increase the pace, Yulhee told him, "I don’t think I can do it."
Despite the physical strain, Yulhee completed the race but collapsed at the finish line. Emergency medical staff immediately attended to her. Still, she managed to say, "I’m okay," and pushed herself to stand up from the ground.
In related news, Yulhee recently revealed on the show that her son had cheered her on the day of his elementary school entrance ceremony.
