On April 18, an online production presentation was held for MBN’s new variety show 'Run Together.' Sean, Lee Young Pyo, Yang Se Hyung, Heo Jae, Yang Joon Hyuk, Ahn Sung Hoon, and former LABOUM member Yulhee attended the event.
'Run Together' is a sports reality variety show celebrating MBN’s 30th anniversary. It follows stars from various fields as they take on the challenge of running a marathon and strive to push past their personal limits.
Known as a “marathon donation angel,” Sean, along with former soccer player Lee Young Pyo, will lead the team as the director and deputy director. Bae Sung Jae and Yang Se Hyung have been confirmed as the show’s MCs.
During the event, Yulhee expressed her excitement about joining the show, saying, “Thank you for casting me. As someone who has never really exercised before, I was curious to see how far I could go in pushing my limits.”
She added, “I’m grateful to be able to run alongside such legendary seniors. I’ll do my best to finish the marathon no matter what.”
Yulhee also shared a touching story involving her son. “My son just started elementary school, and during his entrance ceremony, while we were talking, he mentioned the marathon. He said, ‘Mom, you’re going to run 42 kilometers. You’re going to try hard so you can do it.’”
She smiled as she recalled her son’s reaction and shared, “He said, ‘Mom, I think I could do better than you, but I want you to do well.’”
She added, “That comment really gave me strength. When I was practicing on my own during filming, it felt like my kids were running beside me, and that gave me a lot of comfort.”
Meanwhile, 'Run Together' is set to premiere on MBN at 8:20 PM on the 19th. The program is expected to deliver heartfelt inspiration through the stars’ genuine efforts and emotional moments.
