Seventeen's Seungkwan clarifies why he hobbled away from fans

On May 7, Seventeen's Seungkwan took to the fan community site Weverse to clarify his recent encounter with fans.

He explained he wanted to post a clarification so that his fans would understand why he ran away, hobbling, after being spotted by fans. He shared, "I went for a walk to digest, but there were so many people gathering in front of me. I was passing by and thought, 'What's going on?' Turns out P1Harmony had made a comeback! Congratulations~."

He continued, "The day before, I had overdone my jogging, so my legs were really cramped. A few people started to recognize me and approached me. But I felt like things might get out of hand, so I hobbled away. But of course, it had to be uphill, so I ended up doing this weird solo skit-like chase scene."

Seungkwan explained why he wrote on Weverse: "I'm posting this explanation to this kind of funny but sad story in case anyone was wondering, 'What's up with him?' It was just me being me. Haha."

To back up Seungkwan's story, fans posted a video of their encounter with the idol from that day. Just as the Seventeen member stated, Seungkwan was seen struggling and hobbling uphill as he attempted to move out of the way and not make a scene. But instead, he gained more attention for his hilarious runaway attempt.
