Singer Kim Junsu (XIA) is set to return to the music scene with a full-length album for the first time in about 10 years.
On March 31st KST, Palm Tree Island announced, “Kim Junsu has confirmed the release of his fifth full-length album 'GRAVITY' and will make his official comeback this June.” Having been active as a musical actor in productions such as 'Aladdin', 'Beetlejuice', and 'Death Note', Kim Junsu is returning to his primary career as a singer with a full-length album after a decade.
Alongside the album announcement, Kim Junsu heightened anticipation by releasing a teaser image for 'GRAVITY' through his official social media channels. The poster, which visualizes light gathering within darkness, prominently emphasizes the title 'GRAVITY', intuitively conveying the album’s message and raising expectations for upcoming content.
In particular, this comeback marks his first new release in about two years since the digital single 'I’ll Be Waiting for You' in the 21st Season, released in June 2024, and his first full-length album in approximately 10 years since 'XIGNATURE' (May 2016). As Kim Jun Su returns to his roots as a singer, the comeback holds special meaning for fans who have long awaited his activities as XIA.
Additionally, the track 'How Is Your Farewell'—which was surprise-preleased during XIA 2025 CONCERT Chapter 2 : Festa—is set to be included in the album, further heightening curiosity about the title track and the rest of the songs. As this marks his first full-length album in a decade, Kim Jun Su is currently focusing on final preparations.
Following the closing of the musical 'Beetlejuice', Kim Junsu continues his activities with 'Death Note' and various broadcast appearances in the first half of 2026. With this comeback announcement, he once again proves his presence as an all-around artist, drawing strong interest from both domestic and international fans.
Meanwhile, Kim Junsu’s fifth full-length album GRAVITY is scheduled for release in June.
