BABYMONSTER has officially confirmed their comeback for May 4.
On March 30, YG Entertainment announced that the group will release their third mini album 'CHOOM' on May 4.
The upcoming album captures moments of unity achieved through music and performance, and is expected to showcase the group’s expanded musical identity.
The album will feature a title track of the same name, along with songs that highlight a broader musical spectrum. Through this release, listeners can expect to see an even more versatile side of BABYMONSTER.
On the same day, a motion teaser offering a glimpse into the new album’s concept was unveiled on the group’s official blog, drawing attention.
The video opens with a racing car speeding forward with a roaring engine, followed by a striking visual of the “CHOOM” logo emerging along its trajectory. The fast-paced editing and dynamic atmosphere combine to deliver a surge of energy.
YG Entertainment stated, “We put a great deal of effort into ensuring that BABYMONSTER’s unique musical spectrum can be felt throughout the entire album.”
Ahead of the comeback, pre-orders for the album have also begun and will run until May 3. The album will be available in three formats: photobook, jewel case, and plush keyring versions.
The photobook version comes in three editions—Crimson, Metallic, and Prism. The jewel case version will be released in six member-specific editions, while the plush keyring version will also be available in six member-specific designs.
Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER’s third mini album 'CHOOM' will be released on various music platforms on May 4 at 6 PM, and will also be available simultaneously in both online and offline music stores.
