HyunA recently gave an update on her married life after successfully making her comeback.
On May 4, HyunA appeared as a special guest on the SBS Power FM 'Cultwo Show' in light of her comeback with 'Mrs. Nail.'
She explained that her new song 'Mrs. Nail' was inspired by the phrase, 'No Flower remains abloom red for ten days,' which means 'There's nothing that lasts forever.' She said, 'If there are no flowers that remain red for ten days, (If there's nothing that lasts forever), then I'll become that nail that drives things deeper (so they remain)." She added, "I found myself dancing again to the point I wondered if it was okay to dance this hard."
Now in her 18th year since debut, HyunA said, “Lately, I’ve been feeling even more grateful,” and added, “I find myself wanting to stay passionate on stage for as long as I can.” She continued, “I want to let my fans hear a variety of music, so I’m working hard on the album. I think I’ll be able to greet everyone again within this year,” sharing the exciting news.
Meanwhile, HyunA made headlines last October when she held a wedding ceremony with former Highlight member Yong Junhyung in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul.
Speaking about their life together eight months into marriage, she said, “Each day passes by in a blur.” She added, “He gave me a lot of help while I was working on this album.”
'Cultwo Show' airs every day at 2 PM on SBS Power FM 107.7MHz.
