On May 8 KST, AOA member Dohwa (formerly known as Chanmi) announced her marriage via Instagram!
She wrote on this day,
"Hello, this is Dohwa.
I am writing today because there is a piece of news that I wanted to personally deliver to those of you who have watched over me and cheered me on until now.
I have met someone whom I want to spend my remaining days with, and so I will be getting married this coming June.
He is a generous person who has been by my side at every moment, protecting me with his warmth, and I'm so grateful to have him.
I will introduce him to you in due time.
It would fill me up with strength if you all could congratulate us and pray for us as we prepare for our life together.
P.S. I know that many of my close friends and acquaintances will hear about my marriage for the first time through this post. I'm sorry for not letting you know sooner. I promise to be in touch in the near future..."
Meanwhile, Dohwa debuted as a member of AOA on July 30, 2012. Formerly known as Kim Chanmi, she changed her name to Kim Dohwa in 2023.
