P.O., who appeared in 'Good Partner' last year, recently shared his honest feelings about winning the Excellence in Acting Award at the 2024 SBS Drama Awards.
On April 21, a video titled “Our episode begins brightly🎶 Not at the karaoke🎤 but on YoutuBOOM💣?” was uploaded to the YouTube channel YouToBoom.
The video featured Block B’s P.O. and Lovelyz’s Yein engaging in a lively and humorous conversation.
During the video, host Boom brought up, “Last year at the SBS Drama Awards, P.O. received the Excellence in Acting Award.” He continued, “It must’ve felt quite special to receive an award in a field you were newly venturing into. How did it feel?”
P.O. responded honestly, saying, “To be honest, I actually felt a bit embarrassed. I didn’t think my own acting was particularly good when I watched myself. And even when I received the award, I felt a little awkward because I was part of a well-received project, not necessarily because of my own performance.”
Boom jokingly replied, “For someone who said he was embarrassed, you sure seemed to enjoy it,” referring to how P.O. was fully immersed and having fun during (G)I-DLE’s congratulatory performance at the awards show, which made everyone laugh.
P.O. explained, “I just wanted to help keep the energy up for the junior artists who were working so hard on stage. I was trying to liven up the mood.”
Meanwhile, P.O. played rookie lawyer Jeon Eun Ho in 'Good Partner.' However, some viewers criticized his performance, saying it disrupted their immersion in the drama.
