KIMPRO becomes the first Korean YouTubers to hit 100 million subscribers

On April 17, the YouTube channel KIMPRO announced, “It’s hard to believe, but the KimPro channel has finally reached 100 million subscribers.”

They continued, “Thanks to our team members who’ve been on this journey with us, and to all our subscribers who have watched and supported our videos, we were able to experience this dream-like moment. We sincerely thank you.”

The channel added, “We believe this number reflects your time, attention, and laughter. We’ll continue to repay you with even more entertaining and high-quality content. Our story is just getting started.

KimPro, who uploaded his first video in August 2022, reached 100 million subscribers in just 2 years and 8 months, becoming the first Korean YouTubers to ever achieve this milestone.

So far, KimPro has uploaded 3,117 videos, with total views surpassing 66.4 billion. According to a YouTube analytics site, their estimated daily earnings are around 687 million KRW, with monthly earnings estimated at 20.6 billion KRW (~14.5 million USD), and annual earnings projected to be around 250.8 billion KRW (~176.8 million USD).

The KIMPRO channel is run by influencer Kim Dong Joon and his cousin Yoo Baek Hap. Their content spans a wide range of formats, including mukbangs (eating shows), challenges, and comedy skits.
