On March 28, KBS announced to Ilgan Sports that today’s live broadcast of 'Music Bank' would be canceled due to the ongoing wildfire disaster.
Instead, the show will be replaced with a pre-recorded special of 'Park Won-sook's Live Together.' 'Music Bank' will air its next episode on April 4.
Hosted by actor Moon Sang Min and Idol group ILLIT’s Minju, 'Music Bank' typically airs every Friday at 5:05 PM. Meanwhile, the wildfire, which started in the Gyeongnam Sancheong area and spread to Hadong, is in its eighth day of continuing damage.
According to the Central Disaster Safety Headquarters, the area affected by the wildfire has reached a record 48,000 hectares, which is approximately 80% of the size of Seoul's total land area (60,520 hectares).
As a result of the disaster, 28 people have tragically lost their lives, 9 others are seriously injured, and 28 are slightly injured, totaling 65 casualties. Additionally, around 33,000 residents have been forced to evacuate due to the fire.
