Recently, Korean netizens discovered an overseas media outlet referring to Kim Soo Hyun as "K-Diddy," referring to the notorious P. Diddy scandal in the U.S.
American rapper Diddy is currently embroiled in a major legal controversy involving sexual misconduct. Multiple lawsuits were started alleging and accusing Diddy of grooming and sexual misconduct when the plaintiffs were minors.
Korean netizens highlighted that the current ongoing scandal in the Korean entertainment industry is gaining more attention overseas since sexual abuse allegations with minors are more heavily censured abroad. One netizen pointed out, "There's more uprise over this overseas than our country Korea."
