Singer Jessi has shared an update on her activities for the first time in five months following controversy.

On the 24th, Jessi posted a photo of herself performing on social media with the caption, "Manila, thank you for your energy Manila."

The released photos show Jessi posing in the waiting room and backstage at a performance in Manila, Philippines. She particularly caught attention with her bold red outfit that accentuated her figure. True to her signature daring style, the photos exuded her usual confident charm.
Above all, this marks her first public update since the controversy last year. In September, Jessi was involved in an incident concerning the alleged assault of an underage fan. At the time, a fan approached Jessi—who was with an acquaintance in Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul—for a photo, but a man in her group assaulted the fan.
Jessi appeared to intervene but soon left the scene. When the police later located her and her group at a nearby bar, she reportedly stated, "I don't know," regarding the assailant’s whereabouts, leading to suspicions that she had ignored the situation.
She later explained that the man was "someone I saw for the first time that day." However, when it was revealed that he was an acquaintance of producer Koala—who has close ties to Jessi—public criticism escalated. Despite apologizing twice and being cleared of charges in the police investigation, continued negative public sentiment led her to temporarily suspend official activities.
Now, after five months, she is making headlines with her return to the stage, kicking off overseas performances.
