NewJeans' Danielle welcomed the new year with a heartfelt letter to fans.
On January 6, Danielle took to Instagram to write a lengthy letter in English and Korean to NewJeans' fans Bunnies. In her message, the idol reflected on 2024 and also shared the wonderful memories she made with the members.
She began by greeting her fans, saying in Korean, "Hello Bunnies~ It's Danielle! I can’t believe it’s already 2025! So much has happened over the past year—it was a year filled with both difficult times and moments that made my heart feel so full and precious! Do you feel the same way, Bunnies?" She continued, "What kind of year was 2024 for you? What moments stand out the most? How precious was it? I thought you might be curious, so I tried my best to write it all down. It’s harder to put into words than I thought! Haha. There were probably many moments when you felt tired, worn out, or hurt for various reasons...But I pray that when you look back on our 2024 together, you’ll remember it as a year with more happy memories than sad ones!"
She also wrote, "Every single day, I felt warmth from the small things I shared with Bunnies, and every moment was filled with happiness! Because you were always by my side, I was able to endure even the tough times! I’m truly, truly grateful—thank you so much!"
Danielle continued, "In 2024, I had so many meaningful conversations with people, joked and played with my members, shared delicious food with my loved ones, and learned about life by watching people live their best lives. These memories, stacked up one by one, made me so happy. But above all else, the thing that made me the happiest and gave me the most strength was Bunnies."
The NewJeans member also shared her wishes for the upcoming year 2025 and shared, "Are you curious about my wish for 2025? Hehe. They say wishes only come true if you keep them a secret, but I feel like telling Bunnies will make it come true, so I’ll let you in on it! My wish is for Bunnies, my members, my family—everyone—to stay safe, and have an amazing, rewarding, and happy year! And in 2025, I hope to meet Bunnies on even more stages and have an absolute blast together! On a personal note, I want to meet more artists, collaborate, and create new music! I have so many wishes, but I’ll keep a few secret... I’ll tell you in 2026 if they come true!"
