SEVENTEEN is proving they are as strong as ever! Even with some members currently away for military service, the group has successfully filled the gap with non-stop activities. After thrilling fans (known as CARAT) around the world for seven months, they just wrapped up their huge world tour with a spectacular encore concert and a very special announcement.

On April 4 and 5, SEVENTEEN held their 'SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_] ENCORE' at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium. This was a special homecoming, as they originally kicked off this world tour at the exact same stadium seven months ago.

Over the past seven months, the group visited 14 cities worldwide. They made history by becoming the first K-pop group ever to sell outHong Kong's massive Kai Tak Stadium for four shows in a row. The tour also included giant venues like the LA BMO Stadium in the United States, the Singapore National Stadium, and four major dome stadiums in Japan.

The encore concerts featured fan-favorite stages from the tour, plus some exciting new additions. They performed hit songs like "Super", "April shower", and "Circles" for the first time on this tour. Fans were also treated to special duo performances from the new sub-units: S.Coups & Mingyu, and DK & Seungkwan.

SEVENTEEN's clever strategy of launching sub-units during a massive group tour is getting a lot of praise. Before going to the military, members Hoshi and Woozi formed a unit and toured Asia. Right after they enlisted, S.Coups and Mingyu teamed up to show off a relaxed and cool hip-hop vibe. Soon after, DK and Seungkwan formed a duo to share emotional and beautiful ballads. This perfectly highlights each person's unique musical style.

While the full-group world tour comes to a close today, the SEVENTEEN universe keeps expanding. S.Coups and Mingyu are currently holding a 5-city live tour, while DK and Seungkwan will kick off their very first solo tour at the Incheon Inspire Arena on April 17. These unit shows will give fans plenty to enjoy until all 13 members can stand on stage together again!

During the concert, leader S.Coups surprised everyone with amazing news. He announced that all 13 members have renewed their contracts to stay together as a team! Because of upcoming military duties, this was their last full-group concert for a while, but they promised to keep moving forward together.
