EXO's Baekhyun smashes his previous record in first-day sales with 'Hello, World'

EXO member and solo artist Baekhyun set a personal best in album sales with his latest album.

On September 6, the global star made his long-awaited comeback after three and a half years. According to the Hanteo chart, Baekhyun's 4th mini-album, 'Hello, World,' which features the title track "Pineapple Slice," sold 893,214 copies on the first day of its release.

With this, Baekhyun has not only smashed his own record but also the record among the solo artists. 'Hello, World' has become the highest-selling album in first-day sales among K-Pop solo artists in 2024. His previous album, 'Bambi,' had sold around 760,000 units on the first day. Additionally, 'Hello, World' also surpassed 'Bambi's sales in first-week just on its first day of release.
