NewJeans is all smiles while meeting famed pro soccer players Son Heung Min and Kim Min Jae at recent sporting event

NewJeans recently met up with Tottenham Hotspur's Son Heung Min and Bayern Munich's Kim Min Jae.

On August 3 KST, NewJeans posted photos with the famed soccer players on their official Instagram account, captioning each with a playful soccer ball emoji. In the photos, the members cheerfully hold their customized jerseys while posing with them.

NewJeans was able to meet the athletes when participating in the Coupang Play Series match between Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich, where they did the ceremonial first kick.

Fans were quick to notice that member Hanni was missing in the Kim Min Jae photo, prompting many to joke that Kim Min Jae was Hanni. Comments included, "The one in the middle is Hanni, right?," "Hanni finally became the tallest member," and "Hanni, you're so muscular!"

Meanwhile, as previously reported, producer Na Yeong Seok (Na PD) recently featured NewJeans as special guests on his YouTube variety show Na Yeong Seok's Jigeul Jigeul, where they played games and enjoyed delicious BBQ.
