CIX's Bae Jin Young has reportedly become a free agent.
According to an exclusive report run by Korean media outlet Ten Asia, the former Wanna One member is said to have not to renewed his contract with C9 Entertainment, having made this decision after extensive discussions over a long period. The agency has yet to release an official statement clarifying this report.
Meanwhile, CIX debuted in July 2019, with Bae Jin Young serving as the center, main dancer, and lead vocalist. The group has released six mini albums and one full-length album thus far, including a single album '0 or 1' at the start of this year. Last month, they celebrated their 5th anniversary with a week-long event called '2024 FIX Week,' named after their official fandom.
