TWICE's 2024 promotions schedule has become a hot topic among Korean netizens.
On August 3 KST, a user of the online community Instiz posted a screenshot of member Jeongyeon's recent Bubble messages, titling the post with "Wow, this is crazy. TWICE is making a comeback again this year." In the screenshot, Jeongyeon discusses Tzuyu's solo debut and confirms that TWICE will be releasing another album soon. At one point, she adds, "ONCE knows we've been really busy now, right?"
In the Instiz post, the aforementioned user reacts to Jeongyeon's words while listing out all of TWICE's schedules for the year, writing, "Wow, TWICE, who has become a 10-year-old group this year have completed their 13th mini album, Nayeon's 2nd mini album, their 5th Japanese full-length album, MiSaMo's 2nd mini album, Tzuyu's 1st mini album, and also a tour this year – plus, they're probably making a comeback with their 4th full-length album."
Fans quickly responded to the post, surprised by just how many activities a more veteran girl group has been taking on. This includes one netizen's comment of "Don’t activities usually decrease as the number of years increases? Haha, you work hard consistently. I don’t think you hear 'So-wice' for nothing."
'So-wice' is a nickname given to TWICE combining 'TWICE' with the Korean word for 'cow,' suggesting that the TWICE members are always hard at work like a cow (similar to the idea of a 'work horse').
"So-wice...," another netizen commented. "It's great that they're giving us more, but that's really something."
Other replies included, "Ah, I like this, but I'm sorry, TWICE. They're really busy," "TWICE... never gets breaks?," "That's really crazy," and one fan's prediction, "It seems like they could pre-release the album in December this year and release the album in January, and the full comeback will probably be next year."
