Former December member Yoon Hyuk is facing a 10-year sentence for fraud.
According to reports on April 4, the prosecution demanded a 10-year prison sentence for Yoon Hyuk, who was arrested and charged with fraud under the Specific Economic Crime Weighted Punishment Act at the Incheon District Court on the 2nd. Yoon Hyuk is alleged to have defrauded 20 victims in the amount of 1.7 billion won ($1,263,964.11 USD) under the pretense of investment from August 2021 to May of last year.
In addition, Yoon Hyuk was arrested and charged with fraud in the amount of 800 million won ($594,835.68 USD) in June of last year and 7 other fraud charges. Among the victims are legal professionals, fellow celebrities, management officials, and his fans.
The court has consolidated all of Yoon Hyuk's fraud cases, and the hearing for his verdict will take place at the Incheon District Court on May 23 KST.
