Interesting question for the Almighty Kpop "fans"! If Kpop means KOREAN POP MUSIC, and we only count Korean songs as Kpop, can we still say that Blackpink is a Kpop group? Their discography is like 40 songs overall with their solos too. At least half of them are full English song, a couple of them are Japanese, and there are mixed songs too. I don't even remember if they have full Korean songs. So, if Kpop means Pop songs in Korean language, wonder how many group's discography would cease to exist. If a group has ONE Korean song, they became a Kpop group? This whole thing in nonsense and has to end. Kpop means, Korean Pop, created by Koreans. That's not only singers, it's about writers, composers, producers, and companies too. If only Korean songs are Kpop, then Blackpink and BTS NEVER won any international award as a Kpop group, because they won those awards with English songs. So, tell me, how is this working, exactly? If you like a group, they're a Kpop group, if you don't, they're not? Based on some comments, that's how it works.
