Former AB6IX leader Lim Young Min is speaking out to fans for the first time in nearly three years.

On January 9 KST, the rapper took to his new Instagram account to make his first post, writing the following:

"Hello, this is Lim Young Min.
It's been a long time since I've greeted you.

Time has passed, and the new year of 2023 has already appeared.
Have you all been well?

I deeply reflected on my actions in the interim, and I was able to come this far thanks to the people who care for me.
And in order to become a better person, I gathered up the courage to greet you like this.

In the new year, I hope that all of your wishes will come to fruition, and I will also work hard to make this a year of doing my best.

Happy New Year.

Thank you."

The message was shared alongside a photo taken from a high rooftop, overlooking the city and the sun in the distance.

Lim Young Min first gained popularity as a contestant in 'Produce 101 Season 2' before eventually debuting as the leader of AB6IX. However, in 2020, the rapper left the group after being caught drunk driving and having his license revoked. Since exiting the group, he fulfilled his military service, enlisting in November 2020 and completing his service in May 2021.

Good for him! Everyone makes mistakes & unfortunately his mistake cost him his idol career. However, I hope he grows from this & becomes a better person. Wish him the best :)
