On December 19, the ADOR girl group NewJeans made their highly-anticipated return with their newest song, "Ditto," the pre-release track from their upcoming first single album 'OMG.'

The pre-release track "Ditto," which was written partially by member Minji, reinterprets the feeling of a cozy winter love song through a Baltimore club dance sound. As soon as the girls released their new single, NewJeans skyrocketed to the top and ranked 1st place on MelOn's Top 100 chart just two hours after the song's release, setting a new record for the group.

With that, NewJeans' "Ditto" has become the fastest song by a girl group to reach No. 1 on MelOn's Top 100 chart.

The five-member group made their debut on July 22 with the lead single "Attention." They then released their debut mini-album, 'New Jeans,' on August 1, 2022. NewJeans has been gaining much popularity as soon as they made their debut, topping major real-time domestic music charts.

This time as well, NewJeans successfully grabbed the attention of listeners as soon as their new song "Ditto." As of December 20, 12 AM KST, "Ditto" is at No. 1 on MelOn, Genie, and Bugs charts, while it is ranked 9th on the Flo chart.

Meanwhile, NewJeans' first single album 'OMG' is slated for release on January 2, 2023.
