Weki Meki member Kim Do Yeon has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

According to her agency, Fantagio, on August 26, Kim Do Yeon conducted a rapid antigen test on the 25th due to sudden poor condition and tested positive. Kim Do Yeon has no symptoms other than body aches, and all 7 Weki Meki members tested negative for COVID-19.

Fantagio's official statement is as follows:

"Hello, we're Fantagio.

On the evening of the 25th, artist Weki Meki Kim Do Yeon preemptively conducted a rapid antigen test due to sudden poor condition after completing her scheduled schedule, and the test result was positive.

Kim Do Yeon did not overlap with the 7 members of Weki Meki, but pre-emptive self-kit tests confirmed that all 7 were negative.

Currently, Kim Do Yeon has no symptoms other than body aches and will concentrate on treatment and recovery in accordance with the guidelines of the COVID-19 quarantine authorities.

We will inform you of the schedule for the resumption of artist activities in the future after checking the time of quarantine release.
