Jimin is yet to debut as a soloist officially, but he has already taken tremendous strides in his solo activities, earning recognition from different entities and music charts continuously. Ever since he and Sungwoon released 'With You' OST for the hit drama series 'Our Blues,' Jimin's name has consistently been appearing on numerous charts and lists around the world, showing how well his work has been received by the public. This trend has continued with 'Bad Decisions,' the latest release from BTS, which only consisted of the vocal line members along with Snoop Dog and Benny Blanco. Jimin has yet again grabbed the spotlight in this release and earned immense praise for his impeccable and captivating performance [refer here and here]. In August, he continues to reach new heights and rank high on different music charts.

On August 19, Netbase Quid, a platform specializing in AI-powered consumer and market intelligence, released its monthly list of the top 10 most mentioned artists on social media worldwide. Jimin ranked 2nd among the soloists on the list and was the 3rd artist overall. Previously, after the release of 'With You,' he ranked #1 on this list for two consecutive months (May and June) [refer here] and later on, ranked in the top 5 when he attended the Lollapalooza music festival early this month, ranking higher than most acts who were on the line-up as performers, even though he did not perform [read here]. It shows how influential he is as an individual artist and how widely known his name is.

In other news, On August 18, 'With You' was reported to have now surpassed 100 million digital points on Circle chart. As this is a chart exclusively for the South Korean music market, it gives an indication of how well the song is performing in South Korea.

In addition, the song ranked 11th on the Download Chart for the first half of 2022 ranking. Of note is that by the time of the release of this half-year chart, 'With You' had been released only two months and a week prior; hence the figures only reflect the points earned in this period rather than a full six months. Had it had a full six months, it would have ranked much higher without any doubt.

On the Global K-pop Chart monthly rankings for July, it ranked 18th and was the highest-ranking OST on this chart, yet again proving its popularity.

'With You' made its debut on the Circle chart rankings on Week 18 of the charts (between April 24th and April 30th), and it made impressive debut numbers, scoring the highest debut entries in three of the chart's rankings including the Digital, BGM, and Bell charts. It was also the highest debut for a Korean OST by a BTS member on the Digital Chart, which also happened to be the highest new entry on the chart for that week. Not only was this the highest debut for a Korean OST by a BTS member, but it was also the highest debut for any BTS solo song in general, further proving the power of Jimin as a soloist [read here].

On the Digital chart, which is the main chart, in the 18th week of release, it was the only Korean OST in the top 20, and the highest ranking overall [read here].

With the waves that Jimin is making in the music world, even without an official solo debut, fans are increasingly getting excited as they eagerly look forward to the time when he will release his first official solo album. They are optimistic that he will set even more records then.
