Earlier this year, former B.A.P member Himchan was convicted of sexual assault where the Seoul Central District Court ordered Himchan to complete a 10-month prison term and 40 hours of a sexual violence treatment program.

Following the court's decision, Himchan has filed an appeal against the order, and soon after that decision he posted a long reflection and apology on his Instagram and also attempted suicide. 

The date for the first trial of the appeal has finally been set and will reportedly be held this November 30, almost 8 months since the above incident. Media attention is focusing on how Himchan will be appearing on the court after going through all these twists and turns earlier this year.
