On December 24, SBS officially confirmed with media outlets that this year's '2020 SBS Gayo Daejun in Daegu' will be 100% pre-recorded.
The program will be pre-recorded in order to follow all COVID19 prevention guidelines while ensuring the least amount of contact possible between the performing artists, the filming staff, crew, etc. Pre-recordings previously began back in early December, with many of the stages already completed.
Meanwhile, this year's '2020 SBS Gayo Daejun in Daegu' will feature artists including BTS, TWICE, Seventeen, GOT7, MONSTA X, MAMAMOO, Jessi, NU'EST, GFriend, Oh My Girl, IZ*ONE, The Boyz, Stray Kids, (G)I-DLE, ATEEZ, ITZY, TOMORROW x TOGETHER, April, Momoland, CRAVITY, TREASURE, aespa, and ENHYPEN. The event will be hosted by Boom, Super Junior's Heechul, and April's Naeun.
