Yoochun has been officially prosecuted for drug use after admitting to the charges.

On May 17, the Suwon District Prosecutor's Office confirmed Yoochun was indicted with detention for violating the Narcotics Control Act. The former JYJ member previously confessed to administering Philopon, an illegal methamphetamine, a total of 7 times, including 5 times with his ex-fiancée Hwang Hana between September of 2018 and March of 2019. 

According to reports, prosecutors are dealing with Yoochun and Hwang Hana as accomplices though Hwang Hana is currently denying using drugs with Yoochun on at least 2 occasions. Police will be investigating her case further, but she's been indicted with detention for using Philopon at her home between May and September of 2015. Her trial is set for June 5. 

Prosecution stated, "We indicted Yoochun because he admitted to the charges. His detainment period is set to expire on May 22."
