Interesting read, I couldn’t agree more. Innocent until proven guilty is the way the South Korean justice system works, yet people are treating him as if he were already found guilty. The media, and netizens have been playing both judge and jury throughout and this will surely come back to haunt them if he is eventually found innocent and begins to file lawsuits for defamation, which I hope he does. People need to be aware that anyone spreading misinformation can be held accountable, even just for tweets & online comments because they’re actively spreading a potentially false narrative.

Cannot agree more. We have to remember the media always nitpick some particular evidence that may have bias against someone without showing the whole piece of evidence (aka the text messages). There’s no clear evidence which chats seungri is even in (besides the main big group chats but ALL the content is unclear yet), and what businesses he’s involved in and to WHAT DEGREE!

Please wait for the full investigation to be done.
