Jung Joon Young has been booked for circulating hidden camera footage and prohibited from leaving South Korea.
On March 12, the Seoul Metropolitan Police stated, "We have booked Jung Joon Young and others in relation to allegations of illegally circulating videos this afternoon. We cannot reveal the other suspects' identities." Jung Joong Young has been reportedly filming sex acts with unsuspecting victims and sharing the hidden camera footage with members of a chatroom, and the police have officially detained him for violating the 'Act on Special Cases concerning the Punishment, etc., of Sexual Violence Crimes.'
The chatroom has been linked with Seungri of Big Bang fame and several other celebrities, but nothing has been confirmed. It's reported Jung Joon Young shared illegal sex tapes and photos on at least 10 different occasions.
He's returned from overseas where he was filming a variety show, and he's now been prohibited from leaving the country during investigations. Stay tuned for updates.
