Pentagon's Hui reveals he was having a hard time before 'Energetic' succeeded

Hui, Wanna One
Pentagon's Hui opened up about his times of struggle.

On November 11, Hui guested on MBC FM's 'Idol Radio.' Hui is known for producing the hit songs "Shine," "Energetic," "Never," and more.

Hui named "Energetic" as the song that took the shortest time to compose, and "Never" as the song that he worked on the most.Regarding the success of the two songs for 'Produce 101', Hui said, "It felt better than finding 10 dollars in the streets. I felt like I've picked up and put a chunk of gold in my pocket."

He continued, "I think it was a time when I didn't have a single light despite giving up sleep and working hard every day since our debut. I was having a hard time mentally, but I was so happy thinking that this could bring a bit more attention to my group."

sure, energetic was good, but "NEVER" IS ONE OF THE BEST KPOP SONGS I'VE EVER HEARD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. and whoever made the choreo for that song in p101 deserves credit, too. the kneeling choreo in the bridge = magic. i get chills whenever i watch that part
