On November 12, Jennie held a press conference to talk about her solo debut. At the event, she mentioned Yang Hyun Suk and said, "Sajangnim put extra care into it. I received text messages from him every day. He would coldly tell me, 'I think you should do this,' 'This is not that great,' for even every outfit."
She continued, "After seeing me being shy, he told me 'I know you can do better so why are you being shy?' I think he means that I need to find confidence through my solo promotions."
