The 'Grand Mint Festival 2018's official award ceremony took place back on November 11 at 'Mint Festa 61' at the KT&G Sang Sang outdoor stage.�
The awards took into consideration audience votes, online votes, as well as judges' selection, with nominees from among all 55 participating artists at this year's festival.�
Artists were awarded in 4 unique categories including Best Artist, Best Performance, Best Moment, and Best Rookie. Nominees for Best Artist included BoA, Sweet Sorrow, and Paul Kim; the ultimate winner turned out to be Paul Kim, who also had the honor of headlining the festival for the first time this year.�
Nominees for Best Performance included Jay Park, BoA, and band Soran; BoA was awarded the title for her perfect, veteran performance. Nominees for Best Moment also included BoA, Daybreak, and Soran. BoA was able to snag a second trophy for Best Moment, recognized for causing almost the entire audience to belch along to her hit songs along with her performances.�
Finally, nominees for Best Rookie included Martin Smith, SURL, and Yang Da Il; Martin Smith received the award through his first appearance at the 'Grand Mint Festival'.�
