According to reports on September 12, IU and Bae Doo Na have been cast together in a new short film by director Lee Kyung Mi.
This will mark IU's first ever big-screen acting role, aside from her cameo appearance in 'Real'. While the two actresses have confirmed their casting in the upcoming short film, filming schedules have yet to be established, as the script is still in the works. Reportedly, the short film deals with the topic of tennis; however, the two actresses will not be playing the roles of tennis players.
Meanwhile, Director Lee Kyung Mi, who worked as a scriptwriter for 'Lady Vengeance' in 2005, made her own film director debut in 2008 with 'Crush and Blush'.
