Big Bang's G-Dragon was hospitalized again.
On August 1, an exclusive report by Sports Worldstated that G-Dragon was hospitalized at the military medical center in Pocheon for a total of 15 days from July 12 to July 27. He was hospitalized to receive treatment on his right ankle.
Several reps from the Ministry of National Defense confirmed to Sports World, "It's true that G-Dragon was hospitalized. He left on the 27th after 15 days of hospitalization."
According to the military medical center and the Ministry of National Defense, G-Dragon expressed pain in his right ankle even before his enlistment. Ultimately, he received ankle instability surgery in May. At the time, Dispatchaccused G-Dragon of receiving preferential treatment in the military hospital. Both YG Entertainmentand the Ministry of National Defense denied the accusations, however, Dispatch rebuked the denial.
So far, G-Dragon has spent 11 days at a military hospital in Yangju and 15 days at the military medical center in Pocheon. He has also used 25 days for sick leave. A total of 51 days have been used for his ankle treatment out of his 110 days of military service so far.
Some netizens are criticizing G-Dragon for the continuousleave, and commented, "He hurt his ankle in 2013. Why is he receiving treatment for it in 2018 at the military? The military isn't a rehab center", "But he was dancing fine on stage before his enlistment. Now he's suddenly injured after enlistment".
While others are defending G-Dragon saying that if the doctor recommends treatment and hospitalization then he should do so for a proper recovery.
