Shownu recalled a rather frightening but funny moment with some fans.
On the July 14th episode of 'Knowing Brothers', Shownu relayed a moment when a crowd of fans once threw their phones at him during a performance. While he was on stage at a concert, Shownu had decided to gift a fan with a selfie by taking his/her phone. But once he did the favor for that one fan, a crowd of surrounding fans had also started to throw their phones for a selfie.
He explained, "On my part, I thought I gave the fan a heart-wrenching moment with the selfie gift. But right after that, more phones started flying on the stage. Since I couldn't tell which belonged to whom, and since I couldn't take a photo for all of them, I just retreated away from the stage."
After hearing Shownu's story, Eunhyuk also recalled a moment when Donghae had once picked up a fan's phone for a selfie gift, only to find out that the fan was on the phone with her mother. The quick-witted Donghae had decided to speak to the mother on the spot, telling her publicly that her daughter will return safely home after the concert!
Taemin also relayed a recurring moment when fans would throw gifts into the car whenever the windows were down, and Shownu additionally admitted that photo-taking fans in the crowd would often ask him to step back so that they could get better shots of him.
